An Art Uniti Multi-Disciplinary Project by: 
Art Uniti , Amotol Productions (short film), Pilot Dance (live dance), and Jonn Del Toro Richardson’s band (live music). Bayou Blues was funded in part by an HAA SACI Grant in 2025 and was part of the Houston Bluesfest 2025.
The Bluesfest organizing committee included Tracy DeJarnett (Houston Live), Tami Moschioni (Art Uniti) and Jonn Del Toro Richardson (blues musician). Jonn is a renowned guitarist singer songwriter with two Blues Music Awards for Best New Artist Debut Award for his album Tengo Blues. He also won the "Albert King" award at the Internal Blues Challenge in 2005. The Houston Bluesfest music line up included an all-star band with Houston’s own Leonard “Lowdown” Brown a master of soul blues guitar whom for decades was a cornerstone in Houston’s music scene. Tanya Richardson on bass, William Hollis on keyboards, Allison Fischer on guitar with Greg Junior Brown on drums. Bluesfest all-star guests included Van Wilkes, Hamilton Loomis and the “Queen of the Blues” Fifth Ward’s own Trudy Lynn. Trudy began her musical journey in the mid-1960s singing with blues icons like Albert Collins and Clarence Green and later opened for legendary acts such as Ike and Tina Turner.

This year the Bluesfest included a special documentary tribute to Houston blues history surrounding Peacock Records titled "Bayou Blues", produced through Amatol Productions and filmmaker Mel Petersen.​​​​​​​ Presented at the Houston Blues Fest 2025 in association with Art Uniti, East River 9 and The Pilot Dance Project.​​​​​​​
